Dr. Rony Lahoud is a cardiologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT. He specializes in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, coronary artery disease, aortic stenosis, angina, and mitral valve regurgitation. His research interests include TAVR, PCI (angioplasty), clinical trials and database research.
Dr. Lahoud loves the opportunity of making a positive difference in the community by treating acute and sometimes life-threatening medical problems and then having a long-term relationship with many patients. It is unusual for a specialist to have this opportunity. His goal is that every patient leaves a visit or a procedure room feeling that they’ve had the time to have their concerns addressed and questions answered.
