Dr. DeSimone received his M.D. from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2013. He completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2017. He finished training with a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the New York Blood Center in 2018. Dr. DeSimone joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in July 2018 and serves as Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine.
