Dr. Tracey Martin specializes in gastroenterology and is board certified in obesity medicine. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. She earned her medical degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and completed her internal medicine residency at New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Martin provides a spectrum of gastrointestinal care which includes the management of heartburn, peptic ulcer disease, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, liver diseases, swallowing disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding and colon cancer screening and prevention. She is also interested in the management of obesity through a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and medications.
Her mission is to provide evidence-based, high-quality, patient-centered care. She has several publications on GI disorders such as gastrointestinal bleeding. She is also a committee member for both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.
