Born in India, Dr Neerukonda has lived in Odessa for 21 years. He did a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Presbyterian/St.Lukes Medical Center in Denver, CO. He is a Board Certified Physician in General Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Dr Neerukonda has authored more than 10 publications in national peer review journals. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas Tech Health Science Center at the Permian Basin, where he has received the Best Community Teaching Award twice. He recently was awarded The Health and Science Heritage of Odessa 2017 Community Statesman Award.
