My name is Dr Michael Reza Massoomi, and I am a native of Atlanta, Ga. I completed my undergraduate degree at Georgia Tech and earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. I completed my residency in internal medicine at Emory University and then moved to Gainesville, Fla. to complete fellowships in general and interventional cardiology at the University of Florida, where I also served as chief cardiology fellow. I am an assistant professor of medicine within the division of cardiovascular medicine at UF, and my clinical interests include coronary artery disease, nutrition, preventive medicine, general health and well-being, and the incorporation of personal electronics and biometric devices in clinical practice.
