Dr O'Reilly's internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at Hennepin County Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center in 1996. Dr O'Reilly is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine for both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice and Community Health at the University of Minnesota.
