Hi, my name is Arun Chandran, and I am a board-certified pediatrics and pediatric cardiology physician here at UF Health. I received my medical degree from Christian Medical College in India. After completing my degree, I interned at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas, in Internal medicine. Thereafter, I completed a pediatric residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital. My inspiration to become a doctor was my mother who was an Obstetrician who worked hard to provide wholesome care to her patients while working with limited resources in Africa.
