My name is Dr Juan Vilaro, and I am an associate professor of medicine in the division of cardiovascular medicine at the University of Florida. I received my medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, completing a visiting clerkship in cardiovascular diseases at Mayo Clinic during the same tenure. I completed my residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida, serving as chief resident for the program. I then completed my training at UF, completing cardiology and advance heart failure/transplant cardiology fellowships.
