Kimberly Mangla, MD completed fellowship training in Women's Mental Health at Columbia University. She specializes in treating women across the reproductive lifespan with mood symptoms associated with pregnancy, postpartum, menstruation, and menopause. Dr Mangla's post graduate medical training began in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital. She then completed training in Adult Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a result of her broad training, she is able to deliver psychiatric care with increased sensitivity and understanding of obstetric practice. Throughout training, Dr Mangla has contributed to the field in various ways. She has publications in psychosomatic medicine and resilience. She presented at the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine as well as Postpartum Support International conferences. She continues to pursue additional training in parent infant psychotherapy. Dr Mangla evaluates and treats patients at Columbia Doctors Midtown. She sees patients in consultation as well as ongoing psychotherapy and medication management. She specializes in preconception consultations, perinatal consultation and treatment, fetal loss, infertility, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, and menopause.
