Ugo Paolucci, MD, is the stroke directory at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center. He specializes in vascular neurology and acute stroke management. He has been practicing for more than 15 years and is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology. After graduating from the University of Bologna Faculty of Medicine in Italy, Dr. Paolucci completed a research fellowship at the Burke Medical Research Institute in New York. He served his internship and neurology residency at Westchester County Medical Center and completed his vascular neurology fellowship at JFK Medical Center in the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Paolucci has been extensively published in peer reviewed journals and delivered numerous presentations at annual meetings of the American Academy of Neurology and the International Stroke Conference. He has a strong interest in the management of stroke, acute cerebrovascular emergencies, and related clinical research trials.
