Dr. Hamid Bagce is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Bagce obtained his medical and graduate degrees from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School through the combined MD/PhD Program, during which he was awarded independent funding through an NIH-NINDS Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F30). Dr. Bagce subsequently completed both radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship training here at Columbia, after which he joined the Department of Radiology as a faculty member.
Dr. Bagce’s key research interests encompass translational projects that bridge the fields of radiology and biomedical engineering. Dr. Bagce also has a passion for resident and medical student education, previously serving as the resident coordinator for the medical student radiology elective and receiving the Excellence in Medical Student Education award as a radiology resident.
