Anita Holman, MD completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island College Hospital and remained on faculty as an assistant clinical professor for one year after residency. She then worked as a full-time attending at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for four years, and then at St John's Episcopal Hospital as a full-time attending for three years and Residency Program for obstetrics and gynecology for two years. Dr. Holman serves as the chief of NYP/Allen Ob/Gyn Division, leading a team of physicians and nurse midwives that offers patient- and family-centered care to low-risk pregnant patients and consistently receives high marks for patient satisfaction. Dr. Holman also performs annual well women examinations, colposcopy, endometrial biopsies, contraception counseling and management, obstetric care and various surgical procedures, including hysteroscopy, dilation and curettage, hysterectomy (open and minimally invasive,) myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, endometrial ablation and endometrial polypectomies.
