Dr Chen is a board-certified vascular surgeon at Michigan State University. Dr Chen attended Rice University in Houston, Texas for an undergraduate degree in kinesiology. She went on to earn her medical doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She then completed her residency in integrated vascular surgery at the University of Michigan Health System, receiving the Greenfield Resident Research Award in 2013. Additionally, Dr Chen participated in the Ethicon Endo-Surgery Surgical Educational Research Fellowship through Association of Surgical Education’s SERF Program in 2014. Since residency, Dr Chen has served as a vascular surgeon with Sentara Vascular Specialists in Norfolk, Virginia.
