Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I lost my mother when I was three to breast cancer which I think is one of the reasons that I have always been drawn to the health care field. It's amazing to have the opportunity to help people through their journey to wellness and I take very seriously the responsibility I have to the patients I care for. What I want my patients to know about me: What I value most about my career is the personal connections that I make. I feel that success in medicine isn't only living free from or successfully managing a disease state, but it is better defined by being able to be present for the moments that matter and having as many of those as we can.
