Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have been fortunate to be exposed to the mysteries of medicine since my childhood days from first hand experiences of my mother, a pediatrician, my father, a cardiologist and my grandfather, a family physician. As I grew older the dinnertime discussions about the human heart and its complexity further stimulated my curiosity and left me with a strong desire to learn more. I feel the most fascinating aspect of cardiology is its strong impact on human lives.
