Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I pursued a career in medicine for many reasons. I love helping people feel better and lead healthier lives. Medicine is a subject that has always interested me and seems to naturally make sense to me. I also love the challenges that come with practicing medicine. Finally, being a PA (physician assistant) allows me to have a fulfilling and active career, while also allowing the balance to have a happy and healthy family/personal life.
