Dr. Waterhouse sees both pediatric and adult allergy, asthma, and immunology patients. She is proficient in patch testing, oral food challenge, aspirin challenge and desensitization, antibiotic desensitization, local anesthetic provocative dose testing, immunotherapy preparation, and IVIG initiation and maintenance. In addition to allergic rhinitis and asthma, her areas of interest include food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, urticaria, and common variable immunodeficiency.
Dr. Waterhouse is a graduate of the six-year combined undergraduate/medical school program at the University of Missouri—Kansas City, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts as well as her medical degree. Having recently completed a fellowship at Saint Louis University, Dr. Waterhouse is board eligible in allergy/immunology. She became board certified in pediatrics in 2009 after completing the residency program at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in conjunction with Saint Louis University.
