Mansura Malik, DNP, FNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner and an assistant professor of nursing at Columbia University. She completed her Master’s in Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. She earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has over 10 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine, acute care, post-surgical care, primary care, geriatric care, leadership and education. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also has subspecialty training in end of life care which includes education regarding and completion of MOLST forms. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, health education and promotion, and end of life care and management. Dr. Malik’s research interests focus on hospice and palliative care.
