He completed his internal medicine residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1995 and his medical school at Hacettepe University School of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey in 1991. Dr. Turgut has certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases, American Board of Cardiology, and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
