Dr. Farber then completed his residency at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Fairfax, Virginia, where he served as Chief Podiatric Resident. While in residency, he performed more than 1,800 procedures from elective bunion and hammertoe surgery to complex rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. He also published multiple podiatric medical and surgical abstracts, resulting in a national award in forefoot surgery. With great pleasure, Dr. Farber is returning to his adopted home of San Antonio. Dr. Farber treats foot and ankle ailments, including heel pain, sports injuries, bunion and hammertoe surgery, wound care, Charcot reconstruction, trauma, flatfoot, and ankle reconstructive surgery. He strives to provide each patient with progressive foot and ankle care utilizing the latest technology and evidence-based medicine protocols. In his spare time, he enjoys practicing mixed martial arts, hiking, and exploring the Hill Country.
