Katheryn Isham
Katheryn "Katie" Isham is a native of Greenville, SC. She is a graduate of Clemson University and Emory University School of Medicine. There, she developed interests in medical education and patient safety and quality improvement. She completed OBGYN residency at Greenville Hospital System. She is board certified and practices as an academic specialist in general obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys the variety of medical and surgical care in OBGYN and appreciates the continuity of care OBGYNs provide women throughout the lifespan. At Prisma Health, Dr. Isham serves as the OBGYN residency program director, department lead for obstetric emergency simulation, and has grant funding for work improving access to postpartum contraception. She has been honored with awards as a medical student, resident, and faculty member for teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Outside of work, Dr. Isham enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter.Services
