Dr. Mattox specializes in pelvic floor disorders including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and bladder pain, and is an accomplished surgeon, performing over 1000 minimally invasive laparoscopic pelvic suspensions and more than 2000 minimally invasive sub-urethral slings. He is an expert in treating vaginal mesh complications, is widely published and is a nationally recognized speaker. He has been awarded the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology award for excellence in teaching.

Thomas Fleming Mattox, MD, received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and completed his residency at Louisana State University School of Medicine/Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
