Rodney V. Harrison, MD, FACC, ABSM, is a cardiologist with Prisma Health Cardiology and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Harrison earned his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia and served his internship and residency in internal medicine at Palmetto Health Richland, where he was chief resident. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at Palmetto Health Richland, earned the CIBA-Geigy Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1994 and was named Cardiovascular Fellow of the Year in both 1996 and 1997. Dr. Harrison is board certified in cardiovascular disease and sleep medicine, and currently serves as the medical director for the Prisma Health Baptist Catheterization Laboratory.Services
