William Childers
William Childers, MD, is a native of Blacksburg and joined the practice in 1988. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the Greenville Hospital System Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Childers is active in the community and is the past chair of the County Medical Society and past Chief of Staff of the Laurens County Hospital. He has served on the Laurens Family YMCA Board and is a former board member of the Good Shepherd Free Medical Clinic. He c serves as active elder at First Presbyterian Church Laurens. He served as the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Family Medicine for seven years and is currently the Practice Chief for Laurens Family Medicine. He is married with two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys running, golfing, yardwork, and Clemson athletics.Services
