John Guldner, MA, LPC, LCADC is a member of Summit Health's Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy Center team. Mr. Guldner provides counseling services to adults with a variety of emotional and situational problems, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. He also is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Mr. Guldner’s behavioral health approach involves meeting patients “where they’re at”, essentially taking time to understand their background and what may be influencing their health and well-being. In working to meet a patient’s needs he prioritizes listening deeply, validating and respecting concerns, and ensuring one feels heard. Witnessing positive change through hard work is what he enjoys most. “I am always impressed by the level of commitment people have toward their mental health goals,” he says.
In his free time, Mr. Guldner enjoys being outdoors participating in activities such as hiking, skiing, and swimming. He also enjoys time spent being a dad and is passionate about the well-being, rights, and support of active military and veterans.
