I chose to become a Registered Dietitian (RD) because I love food, science and people, therefore, a career in nutrition seemed the perfect way to combine all three. We all have a lot we want to do, change and accomplish, and what we eat will fuel us. Meals give us the opportunity to make decisions around our well-being three or more times a day. There is something kind of magical about that! My philosophy is to make realistic changes you can stick with, celebrate all victories and enjoy the food you eat. Outside of work, I spend time running, walking, hiking and biking. I also really enjoy being in the kitchen.
