Mary Yap, DNP, APN, NP-C is a member of Summit Health's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Yap holds a doctoral-level degree (DNP), the highest level of educational training in nursing. With Summit Health, Dr. Yap serves as a nurse practitioner who specializes in primary care for adults. She practices evidence-based medicine that is customized to each individual applying a gentle nurse’s touch.

Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Yap was a primary care provider for several years in Denville, NJ. Leading up to her career in primary care, she worked as a registered nurse in various hospital settings.

Mary Yap NP is very thorough and takes time to review all results with the patient and answer any questions that come up. she is up to date on new medical information and treatments and uses that information to make the best recommendation to the patient. she is also very pleasant and personable.
