Though the medical issues of lung cancer patients are often complex, Dr. Hedeshian explores avenues of treatment best befitting the unique needs of each patient, whether that be through surgery, a combination of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and surgery, or through less invasive modalities such as stereotactic radiotherapy for patients who are otherwise non-surgical candidates.
Dr. Hedeshian completed his internship and surgical residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. He then completed his Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. Dr. Hedeshian received his MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Dr. Hedeshian is a Thoracic Surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He has a particular interest in thoracic oncology which includes cancers of the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, pleura, and chest wall. Dr. Hedeshian performs thoracic surgical procedures using both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
