I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Sheahan for my 90-year-old mother for October 30th several months ago. (Since then, the office has rescheduled this appointment due to the doctor being unwell!). We get many texts to confirm the appointment, and then the Dr. gets sick on the day of the appointment!
The same thing happened yesterday morning (December 4th)! The doctor is unwell again; therefore, the appointment is canceled! If he's sick, why did they confirm the appointment yesterday and early this morning? They suddenly canceled three hours before the appointment. When we contacted, they responded, "How about another doctor tomorrow?" Either the clinic is very disorganized, the staff is performing favors for other patients, or the doctor does not know how to conduct his business! How could the office or the doctor treat a new 90-year-old patient in this manner? The specialist at UCI referred him to us. This is completely unprofessional and insensitive. When we called today, we heard every excuse in the book and repeated "we understand, but this is the way it is" NOT GOOD!
