I have wanted to be a pediatrician since I was five years old and could not imagine doing anything else. It is so rewarding to work with children all day. I could be having a tough day, and nothing seems to go right. Then I hold a baby, chat with the kids, hear about an amazing new milestone or accomplishment, and everything seems right in the world. I am so lucky and thankful to be a pediatrician! I like to provide care that incorporates the patient and their family. I try to be clear with my explanations. I like to sit and listen. Often initial concerns can be more complex, so I take the time to ask questions to provide more personalized care. This helps create a solution that works best for everyone. In this way, everyone feels heard and respected. I have had parents tell me they feel I give the best care and take my time with their children. I try to make them feel comfortable and treat their children as if they were my own. I want my patients to feel that they can trust me, my recommendations, and knowledge.
