There are few psychologists who accept insurance. Dr. Piyush Patel is one who makes sure you know how not being wealthy leaves you terrible options like him. He was arrogant and condescending to our family and threatened to not write prescriptions for our son's ADHD diagnosis if we didn't jump through a bunch of hoops for him. Our son needs his medication to be able to focus and succeed at school. This doctor who knows literally nothing about our son decided that he knows everything about him and would love him to go through withdrawal to placate his ego. He showed little to no human empathy for our son or for his parents. It is worth finding another provider, no matter the cost, than letting this man "treat" your child.
