Lewis Attas, MD
Dr Attas is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology, as well as in hospice and palliative medicine. He has been a practicing hematologist oncologist for 30 years. Through Englewood Hospital, he has taught at both Touro Medical College and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His duties at the Cancer Center include overseeing the medical thoracic oncology and lung multidisciplinary teams. Dr Attas was the medical director of Englewood Hospital's hospice program for 15 years. Dr Attas attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his honors thesis on immunology in 1978.
