Dr. Richard J. Hayek is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over three decades of experience specializing in adult reconstruction, hip and knee surgery, shoulder procedures, sports medicine, and general orthopedic trauma. He earned his medical degree with highest academic honors from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the prestigious Kober Medal as valedictorian. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency training before beginning his practice in the Chicagoland area in 1992.
