Dr. Van Stamos is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction and total joint replacement from the prestigious Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship. IBJI’s Chief Medical Officer since 2022, he has served Chicagoland patients for over 20 years, specializing in hip and knee replacements, revision surgeries, and regenerative treatments like stem cell and PRP therapies. Certified in MAKO robotic surgery, Dr. Stamos combines advanced techniques with compassionate, collaborative care. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, cycling, and time with his family.
