Tiven was a three-sport athlete in high school who was awarded several MVP, Top Female Athlete and Female Scholar Athlete awards her senior year. While playing field hockey, basketball, and track she sustained a repetitive ankle injury which required physical therapy to keep her competitive. This sparked an interest in the PT field and steered her to The University of Pittsburgh to pursue her career path. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree, she went on to work in multiple areas of practice embracing a diverse population of patients. She brings over 35 years of experience to the table in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility and home care settings.
