Dr. Accurso’s care philosophy is to establish trust and treat patients as she would want her family members to be treated. “As general practitioners, we are the backbone of the system and often the first stop for patients seeking help and treatment,” says Dr. Accurso. “We must ensure we never lose sight of doing what is best for each individual patient, which includes making sure they have a true understanding of their condition and involving them in an action plan to get them to better health in the most cost-effective way.”
When she’s not in the office seeing patients, Dr. Accurso loves to cook, travel, play tennis, and enjoy time with her kids.

Daniela Accurso, MD, MPH is a member of Summit Health’s Family Medicine team. Dr. Accurso covers the full spectrum of family medicine, treating children through the senior population.
