Lori Attanasio, PA-C is a member of the Summit Health Cardiology team. Ms. Attanasio is trained and experienced in all aspects of cardiology, including cardiovascular wellness checks, hypertension, hyperlipidemia management, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia prevention, cardiovascular disease prevention, and decreasing risk factors.
Ms. Attanasio has always had a passion for health care and a desire to help people feel better. She most enjoys making patients smile, getting to know them, and helping them feel comfortable enough to express their concerns. “To me, the human heart is fascinating and helping patients maintain a healthy one is a very rewarding experience,” she says.
Prior to joining Summit Health, she practiced as a physician assistant on the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Morristown Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Ms. Attanasio is BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certified. She is a member of the American Academy of PAs and the New Jersey State Society of PAs.
In her spare time, Ms. Attanasio enjoys spending time with her husband, learning new recipes, dining out, traveling, decorating, and exploring new country music.
