Dr. Mount currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Dermatology within Allegheny Health Network. Dr. Mount treats patients with skin cancer and common conditions such as acne, eczema, and, psoriasis. He has a special interest in treating patients with cutaneous lymphoma, rheumatologic diseases affecting the skin, contact dermatitis, and cutaneous reactions to chemotherapy. Dr. Mount is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed his internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to his dermatology residency, Dr. Mount served as an active duty flight surgeon in the United States Air Force. He deployed overseas twice including service in Operation Enduring Freedom. During his active duty service he was awarded the United States Air Force Commendation Medal and Air Medal. He then completed his dermatology residency at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri serving as chief resident in his final year. He is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the Medical Dermatology Society, Society of Dermatology Hospitalists, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium.
