I have resided in Ohio for the majority of my life. While pursuing my education at the University of Toledo, I grew a passion for the city. Fortunately, this has led me to to live and work in the great community of Toledo!
Through active listening and thoughtful questioning, I am able to deliver high-quality mental health care that utilizes the most recent advancements in psychiatry. I also work full-time at a local community mental health agency, in which I have gained experience in treating
Seth Colvin is amazing. He seems very easy to talk to, and provided a comfortable and understanding atmosphere for my teenage son. He truly cares, is very accommodating, and went above and beyond to help my son in a tough situation. I cannot speak highly enough about him.
So I am a patient at Unison Mental Health Outpatient Clinic on Starr ave in Toledo Ohio and I used to be Seth Colvin's patient for a little over a year. However recently in May, he put me on a medication called Clozapine even though I didnt need to be on it and it ended up putting me in the hospital on june 10th. I had a perforated colon and I went into septic shock and almost died. The surgeons had to perform six surgeries on my abdomen and now I'm having to wear an ileostomy bag. Speaking of which, I have no stoma because while I was in the hospital my stoma went necrotic and fell off. My wife and I know that all this is because of the Clozapine because we did research on clozapine and found articles by the cdc, the fda, and the national health organization all telling of how dangerous and deadly Clozapine is. As a matter of fact, there are numerous stories of people who were put on Clozapine who experienced the same symptoms as me but they ended up dying. My wife and I tried to tell Seth that I was experiencing certain symptoms such as excessive sleepiness excessive drooling, urinating my bowel, and many more and he refused to take me off the medication. He just kept telling me that I am just "adjusting to the meds". This went on for a whole month as I gradually got worse and my white blood cells were even high too and Seth never took me off the medication. My wife wrote him a letter documenting my symptoms and he just tossed it like it was garbage. I am considering filing a lawsuit but I just thought I should file a complaint with the state board first to see what happens with that. Seth ruined my life for no reason at all and I dont want to see him do this to somebody else which is why I'm filing this complaint now before he does hurt another person. Thank you very much and God bless!
