Salley Williams, ACNPC-AG, received her bachelor’s degree in English before she discovered she wanted to work in the medical field. She obtained an associate degree from Itawamba Community College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama. She received her master’s degree in nursing with nurse practitioner specialization at the University of South Alabama. She is board certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses with a specialty in adult/geriatric acute care. Williams says she enjoys taking care of patients and their families. “I feel a deep compassion to love and comfort others during their time of need,” she says. She started her career in health care in 2005 as an admission/discharge specialist and wanted to stay close to the roots that supported her from the beginning. Her hobbies include spending time with her children, family and friends, traveling and going to concerts. Favorite quote: People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
