Dr Larry Stokar earned a BA in Biology from SUNY, Buffalo, and his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School now called the Rosalind Franklin University. He completed at Albert Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia and become board certified in Internal Medicine. He moved to Pittsburgh where he completed a dermatology residency and was Chief Resident in Dermatology. He is now board certified in dermatology. He has been in private practice focusing on skin cancer and medical dermatology, and teaches residents from the UPMC. He is an active member of the AAD, Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Academies of Dermatology as well as the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. He enjoys family time, traveling, and playing in his rock band.
