Samuel Gorstein, MD, is Director, Resident Education, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Gorstein’s clinical focus is on the care of critically ill infants, children and adolescents, focusing on conditions requiring intensive monitoring, life support and complex interventions, such as respiratory failure, sepsis, trauma and post-surgical recovery. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Brown University, Dr Gorstein attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 2009.
