After earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia in 1985, Dr Khine completed her transitional internship in medicine, surgery & pediatrics at North Western General Hospital in Tasmania, Australia in 1987. She then moved to the United States to continue her medical training, completing her pediatric internship and residency at Montefiore Einstein in 1992, where she was Chief Resident in her final year.
