Raanan Arens, MD, is Chief, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and Program Director, Pediatric Pulmonology at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). He is also Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. He specializes in the care of children with respiratory disorders affecting their breathing and sleep. In 1981, Dr Arens earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel. After completing his pediatrics residency at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel in 1990, he pursued a three-year fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, completing it in 1994.
