After earning his medical degree from the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, Dr Tadeu Ambros completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He was then awarded a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to joining FCS, he provided care to patients at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Board-certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology, Dr Ambros has a strong interest in research with a focus on HER 2- breast cancer. He has served on various research committees and his work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
