Adeena M. Kra, AGPCNP-BC, specializes in adult primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and women's health.
Ms. Kra has practiced with New Jersey Physicians since 2013. Before joining New Jersey Physicians, she was a cardiac nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. While she was a student at Columbia University School of Nursing, she taught other nursing students skills for giving physical exams. Before she earned her nursing degree, Ms. Kra participated in cancer research at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Ms. Kra says, "I chose primary care because it allows me to cultivate trusting professional relationships with my patients and their families as I follow them throughout their lives." She adds, "I partner with my patients to give them individualized, comprehensive, and exceptional care."
Ms. Kra is a recipient of the Mr. and Mrs. H.I. Feldman Award for Excellence in Biology.
When she is not working with her patients, Ms. Kra enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, and visiting museums. An avid swimmer, she has been a lifeguard and swimming instructor for healthy and special needs children and adults.
