Mark Wiesen, MD comes to us from Diabetes, Endocrinology, Metabolism Specialties, a practice that recently joined Summit Health. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He received his training at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He has held positions as Acting-Chief of Endocrinology at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in East Orange and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, a member of the Endocrine Society and of the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Wiesen is chief of staff of the Endocrinology Department at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is also faculty at Holy Name Medical Center and St Mary's Hospital in New Jersey.
Dr. Wiesen was also named in the top 15 Endocrinologists in the tri-state area for the past 5 years by NY Magazine Top Doctors.
