Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Snieckus was Director of the Overlook Medical Center Radiology Residency Program in Summit, New Jersey. To his credit, he has been a member of the Overlook Medical Center Cancer Committee for more than 14 years.
Dr. Snieckus became a radiologist because he enjoys solving problems. He notes, "Being a diagnostic and an interventional radiologist gives me many opportunities to make thoughtful decisions and help patients with their medical issues. I'm especially gratified when I can give patients the information they need in a compassionate, reassuring way. in addition to finding solutions for their health problems, I believe patients often need an empathetic listener who understands their concerns and cares about their emotions."

Peter J. Snieckus, MD, has expertise in general diagnostic radiology, pediatric radiology, cardiovascular radiology, computed tomography, ultrasound, interventional radiology, nuclear imaging, and neuroradiology.
