Beth Nalitt, MD is a member of Summit Health's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Nalitt specializes in treating a variety of conditions in adult patients including, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis and stroke. Additional expertise includes geriatric services and women’s health.
Dr. Nalitt began practicing primary care in 1996. She also served as a clinical instructor for medical residents at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, where her responsibilities included running the medical clinic, teaching rounds for residents and chairing the Morbidity and Mortality committee.
Dr. Nalitt serves as adjunct teaching faculty at Seton Hall University. Additionally, she serves on the American College of Physicians (ACP) council as governor for their northern New Jersey chapter, a term she will complete in April 2018. She is an avid supporter of the policies and practices of the ACP, serving as a summer preceptor for medical students and attending Leadership Day every year since 2007. In recognition of her dedication to the ACP, Dr. Nalitt was presented with the Laureate Award at the scientific meeting for the New Jersey Chapter. Additionally, Dr. Nalitt serves as co-chair of the HHP committee.
Dr. Nalitt’s extensive experience and clinical background offers a unique perspective of the issues addressing internists, and sub-specialists today.
In her free time, Dr. Nalitt enjoys tennis, golf, reading, and traveling.
