Her career began in Havana, Cuba, where she graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Higher Institute of medical Sciences of the University of Havana, in the specialty of family practice. Shortly after immigrating into the United States, Ms. Jimenez pursued health studies at Florida International University, where she earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing. Later on, Ms. Jimenez also earned a Doctor of Practical Nursing degree from University Central of Ashdod, in Chicago, IL. In addition, Ms. Jimenez is a certified hospice and palliative nurse and a certified wound care specialist. With excellent bedside manners and a unique ability to explain health related issues, Ms. Jimenez has earned the love and admiration of her patient and their families. For her, patient care goes beyond simply prescribing medication for specific ailments; the best care is provided when individual patient preferences, needs and values guide clinical decisions.
